Who doesn’t love homemade hummus? This Middle Eastern dip with a spicy twist is a winner in my home. Chickpeas offer numerous health benefits, packed with nutrients, fibre and protein. The best part is they can help with weight loss by keeping your appetite under control.
So I want to share with you this easy and delicious dip that I’m sure you will be adding to your weekly food routine.
You will need: 400g can of chickpeas 1 lemon juiced 2 tbsp tahini 1 clove of garlic minced or pressed 2 roasted capsicums at room temperature 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp coconut sugar 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tbsp olive oil
Veggie options- snow peas, carrots, cucumber, celery and capsicums (all colours) chopped into sticks
How to make:
In a high powered blender or food processor add all your ingredients and blitz till smooth.
Store in an airtight container, keep in fridge and will last up to one week.
