Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl

How good are Smoothie Bowls?  My first smoothie bowl was in Bali at a cute cafe called Nalu Bowls. I would without a doubt I would eat one every day.

Once I got home I wanted more, so I thought I would recreate my own very smoothie bowl. this healthy breakfast is like eating sorbet in the morning. It’s so easy to make and you will feel full and satisfied. 

You will need:

1 pink dragonfruit (frozen chunks)

1 banana (frozen)

A handful of frozen strawberries

1 cheek of a mango

1 Tsp rice malt syrup (optional, Nalu used honey in their bowls) 

Topping’s

crunchy granola (recipe coming soon)

fresh fruit of your choice- Blueberries, banana, strawberries

How to make:

Add all your smoothie ingredients into a high powered blender, add a little bit of water. not too much as it needs to start off thick. slowly add more water as its blending to get to a sorbet consistency.

Transfer into a bowl; Add your toppings and eat.

This is a perfect summer treat for any time of the day.
